Chad Pilon was hand selected for his promising command in civil matters related to health care, pharmaceuticals and personal injury. Before joining Cohen, Jayson, & Foster, Chad developed an extensive background protecting the rights of the elderly who were injured in hospitals, nursing homes and assisted living facilities. Additionally, Chad had litigated a variety of statutory and common law actions in an assortment of personal injury and wrongful death lawsuits. Chad participated in the development of the first lawsuit against an institutional pharmacy provider in a long-term care setting for breaches in the professional standard of care by a consultant pharmacist.
Chad is currently a member of the American Bar Association, American Association for Justice, Florida Justice Association and the Hillsborough County Bar Association.
Chad Pilon received his Juris Doctorate, cum laude, from Stetson University College of Law, where he participated as an Assistant Editor for the Stetson Law Review. Chad also holds a Bachelor of Science in Criminology and Criminal Justice and a Master of Public Administration from Florida State University. Chad is currently licensed to practice in both Florida and Mississippi Courts.
